Service Dog Training

The service dog industry is unregulated and therefore quality control in a standardized manner is almost non-existent. The service dog is an additional tool to assist you, the dog is NOT a replacement for being under the care and supervision of a physician.

If you already own a dog that you would like to have service trained we will evaluate him or her to determine suitability. Not many dogs have the temperament and trainability for service and no amount of training will make a difference. Finding the right dog for your needs and lifestyle is critical.

We can also help in this regard by locating a dog for you for your specific needs. Once you have the right dog training begins that day. If you do not need a diabetic alert dog you may only need the obedience and public service training. It takes about two months to have you certified ready to go anywhere in public with all the knowledge that is needed to maintain a dog anywhere.
