Yes, Ron earned a scholarship and graduated from Western Metro School of dog training in 1977. All trainer/instructors working for Ron have completed 400 hours of training and graduated and received certification from our trainer/instructor program.
A trainer just trains dogs which is relatively easy. A trainer/instructor has been taught not only how to train any dog but to be able to effectively instruct others to train their dog.
There is no such thing as a fully trained dog. You need to learn these training techniques so you can apply them over the rest of your dog’s life. We have good reason to believe you will be very satisfied with your accomplishments after the four weeks of private lessons.

I have proven them wrong. If they think it is cruel then they have never learned how to properly use one. Most dogs will pull you around the neighborhood with one on if you let them. I believe you should not have your dog wearing a choke until you know how to use it properly and that is what we are here to teach you.
Our training program is effective for two reasons: Our method provides you with an understanding of canine behavior. The training techniques we teach you allow you to communicate with your dog in a way they are biologically “wired” to understand.
Our program is a thirty year time tested training program which consists of a known sequence of essential elements that, when administered properly, will produce a capable, well trained dog. The key to our success is that we teach you how to do what we do. So it is important that you learn the proper leash techniques, effective timing, proper praise and correction techniques in order to mold your dog’s behavior in the long term.
If it would work, we would. Each dog and owner are different and we feel that by first training you one-on-one in a non distractive atmosphere you will then have the solid foundation to work under distraction effectively in our Saturday group classes.
If you feel we do not have the knowledge you needed, yes.
