What is the best age to start training?
Our puppy classes start at 9 weeks.
I have heard that you should not take a puppy out until they are fully vaccinated at 16 weeks of age.
Your puppy is more vulnerable but in our 30 years we have not seen many problems and the risk you take not starting early far outweighs the risk of disease.
What type equipment do I need for your puppy pre-school class?
A six foot nylon leash, a nylon collar and some of your dogs food.
Some have said choke collars are cruel, are they?
I have proven them wrong. If they think it is cruel then they have never learned how to properly use one. Most dogs will pull you around the neighborhood with one on if you let them. I believe you should not have your dog wearing a choke until you know how to use it properly

If it would work, we would. Each dog and owner are different and we feel that by first training you one-on-one in a non distractive atmosphere you will then have the solid foundation to work under distraction effectively in our Saturday group classes.
